Tuesday the 19th of December. Rode to work on my Vespa. They said we would get up to 6 inches of snow. The DOT had sprayed the roads with the wet de-icer. I was wondering why the roads were slick, but we did not get the snow predicted.

I caught the bus outside our complex at 6:30am and 3/8" of snow on the ground. The winds were 30mph plus though. By the time work started, it was a fine granular snow that was blowing sideways. Work was slow. I had 6 phone calls all day...3 from Cathy and one from Eamon. The rest were actually work related.

I have a clinet who wanted to have 63 two hour 8mm tapes converted to DVD by XMAS. She brought them in on the 8th. So at least I had something to do. At 3:30 my boss said I could leave early after he snow blew ( I am not sure that is the correct tense but whatever) our parking areas. We have a parking lot that has 4 spaces... he was still at it an hour later when I left. 2 and a half hours to take two buses and the light rail. (normally 50 minutes).

So Thursday the 21st is a snow day. A matter of fact that it is 10 am now and still snowing. Below are pictures that I snapped this morning. We are definitely having a WHITE CHRISTMAS...

Well it snowed again a week later. When am I going to ride on the Vespa again? Next week I hope. The RTD (Regional Denver Transportaion or Reason TO Drive) is working so far but tempers on all sides are getting a little thin...
